The head of EULEX, Lars-Gunnar Wigemark, and the German ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde, have said that they are concerned about the situation in the north of the country.

Wigemark wrote on Twitter that he was concerned about yesterday's incidents in the north and that "any protest should be peaceful and everyone should remain calm and restrained".

He said that EULEX will continue to monitor the situation in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and KFOR.
