The US sends another 500 million dollars in aid to Ukraine

The United States will offer Kiev a new military package worth 500 million dollars, the Pentagon announced.

The package contains ground vehicles, including Bradley fighting vehicles and Stryker armored personnel carriers.

The goal is to support Ukraine in its counteroffensive and strengthen its air defenses, the Pentagon said.

His statement states, among other things, that the United States "will continue to work with its allies and partners to provide Ukraine with the capabilities to meet its immediate needs on the battlefield."

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky tweeted that he was "sincerely grateful".

He said the Bradley and Stryker vehicles "will further increase the power" of his military.

Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February of last year.

The West has taken harsh sanctions against it, while it is helping Ukraine with weapons.

The United States is by far the largest contributor in this regard, followed by the United Kingdom and the European Union. Deliveries so far have included: tanks, howitzers, missile systems, drones and others./ Rel
