The constitution of the Kosovo Assembly has failed for the 37th time. Media in Kosovo report that today's session lasted less than two minutes, from which no result was achieved.

The chairman of the session, Avni Dehari, asked the political entities to propose a representative for the Electoral Commission, but this time the proposal did not pass either, reports Telegrafi.

With 52 votes in favor, none against, and no abstentions, the session was adjourned, to continue after 48 hours.

Since the parliamentary elections held on February 9, the Kosovo Assembly has failed to be constituted, as the winning party, the Vetevendosje Movement (LVV), is not securing enough votes to elect the Speaker of the Assembly. The candidate proposed by LVV for this position, Albulena Haxhiu, has not received the necessary support.

The next session will be held in 48 hours, on Friday, June 27. /CNA
