Iran warns/ "If Israel makes a mistake again, the second wave will be more destructive"

Iran has launched hundreds of ballistic missiles towards Israel this Sunday evening.

An Israeli security official says most of these missiles were intercepted by the Israeli Air Force, in cooperation with the US Air Force Central Command.

However, it seems that Iran will not be stopped.

Ebrahim Azizi, head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Parliament, said on Iranian state television that this was the first wave of attacks by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

He stated that Iran intended to hit Israeli military centers and facilities, but underlined that the missiles could have also hit civilians due to miscalculations.

Azizi warned that if Israel "makes a mistake again", there will be a second wave, which will be "even more destructive".

He added that according to Iran's assessment, Israel "cannot retaliate" against Iran's latest attack./ CNA
