Gun attack in Tel Aviv/ Four victims are registered

At least four people were shot dead on Tuesday in a suspected attack in the central Israeli city of Tel Aviv, police said, adding that the two attackers had been "neutralized".

"Four civilians were killed by the shootings of two terrorists. Also, seven people were injured with varying degrees of injuries, according to medical sources. Both terrorists were neutralized at the scene," the police said in a statement.

Television footage, shared on social media, showed gunmen exiting a train station and opening fire on bystanders.

Israeli media reported that at least four people were seriously injured. Israel's ambulance service, MDA, said it had been notified of people injured by the shooting.

"Doctors and paramedics provided medical treatment at the scene to several injured persons with injuries of varying degrees, including some who were unconscious," MDA said./ REL
