The Basic Court of Pristina has made the decision that the three suspected perpetrators of the murder of Liridona Ademaj remain in prison until October 25, while the investigations related to the event continue.

Accused of murdering Ademaj, are her husband Naim Murseli, who paid Granit Pllava to execute her and staged the event as a robbery.

Murseli's relative, Kushtrim Kokalla, who also collaborated in the crime, is also in prison.

Granit Plava testified earlier to the police that he received 15 thousand euros from Naimi to kill his wife, while he would receive the rest after the crime.

In the statement made by the court, it is said that Naim Murseli gave the gun to Granti Pllava and staged the robbery.

Law enforcement authorities in Kosovo have not yet managed to clarify the motives of this serious crime.

"I inform you that the measure of detention for the defendants NM, GP and KK has been extended for two months by the Decision dated 23.08.2024, which measure will be calculated from 26.08.2024 to 25.10.2024, under the conditions provided for in the KPCK", the court announcement states./ CNA
