Another tragedy on the Greek coast, this time in Lesvos. According to information from the Greek media, a raft with immigrants has sunk.

So far, 23 people have been arrested, while there are also reports of victims.

There were immigrants in the rafts who tried to cross the border illegally, while their exact number is not yet known.

 The barge was located 3 nautical miles inside Turkish territorial waters. Turkish authorities were notified but did not respond, according to ERT, and orders were given from the operations room for the Coast Guard to proceed with the rescue.

Migrants are currently being transported to the port of Mytilene./ CNA
