Netanyahu: Gaza war could end if Hamas accepts Trump proposal

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that the war in Gaza could end immediately if US President Donald Trump's proposal is accepted.

"Defend your rights and your future. Make peace with us and accept President Trump's proposal," the Israeli prime minister says in a message to civilians in Gaza.

On Sunday, Hamas said it welcomed "some ideas" from the US on how to reach a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which it received through mediators.

Earlier in the day, Trump had posted on Truth Social: "Everyone wants the hostages back home. Everyone wants this war to end! The Israelis have accepted my Terms. It's time for Hamas to accept them too."
