"The world must not remain silent"/ Zelensky: Russian attack that killed 21 people in Donetsk was brutal

At least 21 people have been killed after a Russian bomb hit a village in eastern Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and a regional official said.

The bomb hit the village of Yarova in the Donetsk region, Zelensky said in a post on 'X', adding that the victims were elderly people who were in line to receive their pensions.

Zelensky criticized the attack as "brutal," calling on the international community to make Russia pay economically for its full-scale invasion through additional sanctions.

"The world must not remain silent. The world must not remain inactive. The United States needs a response. Europe needs a response. The G20 needs a response. Strong action is needed so that Russia stops bringing death," Zelensky wrote.
