US President Donald Trump has inspected the construction of the ballroom to be built at the White House. During this inspection, Trump answered questions from journalists who were present, where he also spoke about the importance of this ballroom.

"When this is over, my term ends immediately after that. This is really for other presidents, not for me. This is my gift to the United States of America. Hopefully it will be used for hundreds of years," Trump said.

While speaking about King Charles' recent state visit to the US, Trump says he was unable to host the scale of events he had desired due to the current White House facilities. 

The US president also spoke about the war in Iran, where he reiterated his position that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. Among other things, he warned of another possible attack on Iran by the US military.

"They are begging to make a deal, but we may have to give them another big blow. I'm not sure yet, we'll know very soon ," he said.

Trump blamed Democrats, his political opponents, for the breakdown of his negotiations with Iran. Asked how close he was to striking Iran yesterday, he replied: " I was an hour away, it would have happened right now."

Responding to other questions, Trump stressed that he is working with Gulf countries in negotiations with Iran. Meanwhile, he claimed that there may have been a nuclear threat to Los Angeles and said he would not let the world descend into nuclear conflict during his term. /CNA
