The Central Election Commission of Kosovo held a meeting today where it approved the amendment and supplementation of the activity plan for the organization of the early elections to be held on June 7.

According to the CEC's decision, the postal voting process, which was scheduled to begin on May 25, will begin earlier, on May 21, 2026.

In a press release, the CEC announced that the change in deadline was made following the announcement by the postal services contractor that DHL and postal services in several European countries will not be operating on May 25, 2026 due to an official holiday. As a result, there will be no delivery or receipt of postal items during the period May 22–26.
