The Minister of Internal Affairs of Kosovo, Xhelal Sveçla, has given details of the police action in the north.

While taking stock, Sveçla said that 6 people have been arrested, 2 of whom are injured aggressors.

As for the number of victims, he confirmed only 3 killed, while emphasizing that the action is continuing.

"Armed groups attacked our patrol and killed Sergeant Afrim Bunjaku. We also had one official injured and one injured. I express my deepest condolences to the family and relatives of the victim. After that, the response of the police officials was immediate and professional, where for a short time they put the territory under control.

We had another official slightly injured, but the others, thanks to their professionalism, managed to perform the operation without injuries and without other victims. In this case, we have 6 arrested, 2 of them injured, in military uniform. We have at least 3 attackers killed. In this case, the police discovered an extraordinary amount of heavy weapons, uniforms, logistics, food, equipment for barricades and we can freely say that they were equipment for several hundred other attackers.
