"Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan continues to provoke", so writes the Greek media protothema, while devoting an article to long-distance clashes, Turkey-Greece.

The Turkish president accused Greece of 147 air violations of Turkish airspace, stressing that the Turkish air force will respond.

"Turkey does not want to go to war with Greece, but will continue to respond to violations of Turkish airspace," Erdogan said a day after returning from the NATO Summit in Madrid, Greek media writes.

Erdogan also added that he has no plans to hold a meeting with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, accusing Greece of violations.

"They committed 147 air violations in a short time. So if we are neighbors, if we are friends and want to live in peace why are you violating our airspace. When you commit such violations then who is our duty? Our air force will be mobilized and will give you the answer you deserve", he said./ CNA.al
