The acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, held a press conference today following local elections in 38 municipalities.

Kurti stated that the results so far show that LVV has emerged as the main political force at the local level.

Further, the leader of LVV said that his party is expected to win the Municipality of Gjilan without a runoff.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo also called for an investigation into the incident in Mitrovica, and described the publication of news about the winners before the voting process was closed as a violation of this process.

Regarding the government, Kurti declared that on November 26, the last date of the session, he will present the government cabinet.

" In the 4 municipalities that we have governed for the last 4 years, we are leading without a runoff. The counting of the diaspora and conditional votes is still awaited. These results clearly show that our movement has emerged as the main political force at the local level. This is the most precious gift we have received from the people. From today, we are committed to the work of the runoff. Our goal is clear, for our candidates to win in these municipalities and for good governance to continue or begin. For them to be municipalities that function and where governance is transparent.

What happened in Mitrovica should be investigated, it is a flagrant interference in the electoral process. Posting fake news about who the winner was before the voting process has even closed is a violation of the process.

On November 9th, we strongly believe that we will win. LVV won 3 municipalities without a runoff, and maybe Gjilan will be added.

It is necessary that today and tomorrow we make a general and comprehensive analysis. Then we will make a plan for the continuation further. The result of these elections is very good. Look at the 4 municipalities where we have governed what popular support there is for the candidates. We are everywhere in the runoff. Completely satisfied.

"As for the central government, the last day where the last session is held and I will present the government cabinet is November 26. These days we will also begin talks on the central government.
