Local elections in Kosovo/ 17 municipalities go to runoff

Most votes in Kosovo's 38 municipalities have been counted.

While in some of them the winners have been announced, in 17 municipalities the mayoral candidates are in the runoff and a second round of elections will be held on November 9.

 

The municipalities going to the runoff are:

 

Pristina - Përparim Rama from LDK and Hajrulla Çeku from LVV

 

Prizren- Shqari Totaj from PDK and Artan Abrash from LVV

 

Peja- Gazmend Muhaxheri from LDK and Taulant Kelmendi from LVV

 

Junik - Ruzhdi Shehu from LDK and Taulant Kelmendi from LVV

 

Dragash - Bexhet Xheladini from LDK and Shaban Shabani from PDK

 

Gjakova- Ardian Gjini from AAK and Ardian Gola from LVV

 

Kaçanik - Sabedin Vishi from PDK and Jeton Raka LVV

 

Kosovo Field - Valon Prebreza from LVV and Besnik Osmani from LDK

 

South Mitrovica - Arian Tahiri from PDK and Faton Peci from LVV

 

Rahovec- Smajl Latifi from AAK and Ali Dula from LVV

 

Suhareka- Bali Muharremaj from AAK and Ardian Shala from LDK

 

Gjilan- Alban Hyseni from LVV and Arbër Ismajli from LD

 

Viti - Sokol Haliti from LDK and Arsim Ademi from LVV

 

Vushtrri- Ferit Idrizi from PDK and Sylejman Meholli from LVV

 

Obiliq- Xhafer Gashi from LDK and Halil Thaçi from LVV

 

Klina - Zenun Elezaj from AAK and Sokol Bashota from PDK
