In the race for mayor of Gjakova, Nikoll Perkaj from the Albanian Democratic National Front Party was also a candidate. Unfortunately, a few days ago, Perkaj lost his life as a result of a cardiac arrest.

But, even though he passed away, his name has not been removed from the list of candidates on the ballot. According to the results on the official CEC website, Perkaj has secured 53 votes. /CNA
