As in Albania, in Greece too, the occupation of beaches is a hot issue.

Because of the debate, this issue in the neighboring state had to be resolved with the intervention of the Supreme Court.

The latter has come out with a memorandum, reminding the prosecutors that " Greek law does not recognize private beaches ".

The Supreme Court calls for any attempt to block public access to beaches to be outlawed and dealt with strictly with demolition and arrest warrants where necessary.

" We must make it clear to everyone, through our enforcement determination, even by applying the sanctions and the full force of the law, that the main purpose of the common property is to be free to the public", said the Deputy Prosecutor of the Court of Highness, Panagiotis Panagiotopoulos for the media .

Thus, the Greek authorities have put an end to the debate, not allowing the occupation of public beaches./ CNA.al
