The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak, has condemned the attack on Israel. He said the attacks risk inflaming tensions and destabilizing the region, adding that Iran has demonstrated its intent to sow chaos in its own backyard.

"The UK will continue to protect the security of Israel and that of all our regional partners, including Jordan and Iraq. Alongside our allies, we are working urgently to stabilize the situation and prevent further escalation. No one wants to see more bloodshed," Sunak said.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said his country "unequivocally condemns Iran's airstrikes," adding: "We stand with Israel."

"After supporting the brutal Hamas attack on October 7, the Iranian regime's latest actions will further destabilize the region and make peace more difficult," he said.

French Foreign Minister Stephane Sejourne said that France "condemns in the strongest terms the attack launched by Iran against Israel".

"By deciding on such an unprecedented action, Iran is taking a new step in its destabilizing actions and is taking the risk of a military escalation."

The German ambassador to Israel, Steffen Seibert, said:

"Germany's solidarity is with all Israelis tonight, whom Iran is terrorizing with this unprecedented and merciless attack: Jews as well as Arabs and Christians, Bedouins in the Negev as well as Druze in the Golan. May everyone be safe," he wrote./ CNA
