Lajcak, time to leave, magnifying glass on Kosovo and binoculars on Serbia

Lajcak, time to leave, magnifying glass on Kosovo and binoculars on Serbia

Miroslav Lajcak, for three years the EU envoy for the process of normalization of talks between Kosovo and Serbia, has filled the cup and must drink it so that it does not spill.

He filled the cup not so much with his past:

- comes from a country that has not recognized Kosovo (it is not known if and when it will recognize it)

- was the foreign minister of Slovakia, giving instructions to the Slovak diplomatic corps to say everywhere that we do not recognize Kosovo.

- there are consolidated friendships in Serbia

Lajcak has filled the cup with one-sided positions in the dialogue that endanger peace in the region. When he took office, three years ago, there was talk of normalization between Kosovo and Serbia. Today we have reached the point that is being talked about "reducing tensions"

From a mediator who must listen to both sides, must take care of comprehensive approach and above all for the implementation of signed agreements, Lajçak has turned into a danger for the negotiation process by becoming a lawyer for the Serbian side and a prosecutor for Kosovo's concerns.

The lawyer of the Serbian side to the point that even when he became aware of the fact that one of the Serbs of the management committee for the Association of Municipalities with a Serbian majority was meanwhile an elected member of the Parliament of Serbia, without batting an eye he said that: "there is no restriction to stop it”!!!

Currently, all of Lajçak's work is focused on the mantra: what Serbia demands must be fulfilled, and we will talk about Kosovo's concerns later.

Even when concrete and realistic solutions are presented to him from the side of Kosovo, his answer is: Serbia does not accept this.

When Serbia violated the commitments in the Basic Agreement for "not hindering Kosovo's membership in international institutions"), just a week after Ohrid, Lajçak, who has begun to show his arrogance in writing, could not find a single word to say.

It is Serbia that breaks the commitments made in the basic agreement, but the pressure is exerted on Kosovo.

It is Kosovo that has signed all the international agreements that have been offered to it (Rambuje, the Ahtisaari plan, the Brussels Agreement and recently the Ohrid agreement) and it is Serbia that does not sign agreements. Pressure is once again exerted on Kosovo. Vu?i? mocks the sponsors of the Franco-German plan saying that he does not sign because "his hand hurts" even "my hand will hurt for the next 4 years"

There are more than 20 agreements that have not been respected by Serbia, but pressure is exerted on Kosovo for a point - association.

The Constitution of Serbia states that Kosovo is part of Serbia. There is no normalism without changing the constitution, at any time the justification is ready. Mutual recognition must be at the heart of any proposal for normalization. Ignorance is also the source of tension.

As the MEPs pointed out a few days ago, Miroslav Lajçak does not see where the current source of tension is and has a problem with his eyes to distinguish who is the aggressor and who is the victim. In fact, the source of the tension is also in Ohrid, where the scandalous behavior of Lajcak, with maximum pressure on Kurti and disgusting petting of Vu?i?, has contributed to the courage of Serbia to do whatever it wants, from mockery/cynicism by not signing an agreement, to violation of any commitment up to provocations and violent actions against KFOR, the police and journalists in the North of Kosovo.

That Lajçak has totally lost the trust of a party, this is not forgotten, but that with his behavior and actions he is contributing to the increase in tension, this is proven every day.

On the one hand, Kosovo not only recognizes Serbia, but seeks normal relations, on the other hand, we have Serbia that does not recognize Kosovo. On one side we have one side that says: let's get along, on the other side we have the message: "you don't exist for me".

And when the EU mediator aligns with the aggressor, and when this "facilitator" puts the magnifying glass on everything in Kosovo and the binoculars on what Belgrade is doing, it's time to say just two letters: leave.
