Threats from Russia against embassies in Ukraine/ Around 50 countries condemn the act at the UN

About 50 countries condemned what they considered a threat by Russia against embassies in Ukraine.

In a joint statement at the United Nations published this Tuesday by the Ukrainian representative to the UN, Andriy Melnyk, it is emphasized that Russia's latest threats are unacceptable.

"We also condemn the recent threats by Russia against diplomatic institutions and embassies in Kiev. This is something we cannot accept," the statement said.  

The declaration was signed by European countries, but also Japan, South Korea and others, while the United States of America was not among the signatories.
