The Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack this morning in Ankara, in front of the Interior Ministry building.
"An act of sacrifice was carried out against the Turkish Interior Ministry by a group linked to the Immortal Brigade," the armed group told Kurdish-linked media ANF.
The PKK is classified as a terrorist organization by Turkey and many Western countries.
"Terrorists will never achieve their goals ," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said today in front of parliament, a few hours after the bomb attack in front of the Ministry of Interior in Anchor.
The van of the two terrorists was stopped outside the Ministry of the Interior of Turkey, in Ankara, a few seconds before the very powerful explosion that occurred.
Afterwards, one of the two attackers is seen speeding towards the gate of the ministry, while the second goes to the back of the vehicle and fires rockets with an LAV type anti-tank gun./ CNA
