NATO approves more peacekeeping forces for Kosovo

Jens Stoltenberg has announced that NATO has approved additional peacekeeping forces in Kosovo following the unrest along the Kosovo-Serbia border.

“We continue to call on Belgrade and Pristina to engage in EU-facilitated dialogue as the only way to resolve outstanding issues and reach solutions that respect the rights of all communities. This is the key to sustainable security in Kosovo and stability in the region," said the NATO Secretary General.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, welcomed NATO's decision, saying that Serbia wants to destabilize the region with the help of Russia.
