The American president, Joe Biden, is in Israel, where he held a conference with Benjamin Netanyahu. For the latest attack that took place in a hospital in Gaza, Biden expressed that he is deeply saddened and angry. He stressed that this attack was not carried out by Israel.
"Based on what I've seen, it looks like it was done by the other team, not you. But there are a lot of people out there who aren't sure, so we have a lot to overcome," he said.
President Biden further stated that he is proud of the Israeli people and that the US will continue to support them.
"Imagine what those kids were thinking hiding from Hamas? It's beyond my comprehension. The United States will continue to support Israel. I look forward to having a discussion about what happens from here. The courage, dedication and bravery of the Israeli people it's amazing. I'm proud to be here," said Biden./ CNA
