Sinking of the boat in "La Manche"/ 43 people are saved, 3 others lose

At least 3 people lost their lives and 43 others were saved from the incident this morning.

It is learned that some of the rescued were taken out of the boat and some others were taken out of the water.

According to Skynews reports that the rescue forces have made it possible to save some of the people who are thought to have been in the sunken boat. 

There were 30 to 50 people on board the ship, a French source said.

Coastguard boats and rescue teams and an air ambulance were dispatched to assist in a search and rescue operation.

The search and rescue operation is still ongoing./CNA.al
