Russian forces attack Kharkiv and Mikolaiv

Artillery attacks by Russian forces hit the port city of Mykolaiv in the southern part of Ukraine during the night. As a result, a polyclinic was damaged as well as some residential buildings, the mayor of the city, Oleksandr Senkevych, announced on Sunday. He did not specify whether the attack caused casualties.

Mykolaiv and the surrounding region have been hit every day during the weeks of war that began on February 24. Governor Vitaliy Kim said that on Saturday a child was killed and five people were injured by rocket attacks in the region, VOA reports.

In Kharkiv, Ukraine's second largest city, as a result of Russian bombing late Saturday night, a restaurant complex was engulfed in flames. One person was killed and two others were injured, Governor Oleh Synyehubov announced.
