Missile attacks in Kiev/ Reported to kill and injure

Multiple explosions have occurred in the capital of Ukraine, in Kiev. The attacks come shortly after the explosion on the Crimean bridge.

A number of people were killed and injured in attacks in Kiev this morning, Ukrainian emergency services say.

It is not known exactly how many people died or were injured.

A day earlier, President Vladimir Putin blamed Ukrainian intelligence services for the attack, calling it an act of terrorism.

He will chair a meeting of his security council today to discuss the blast.

Ukrainian officials say a number of people have been injured in further rocket attacks in Zaporizhzhia overnight.

Continued shelling of the city in southern Ukraine has killed dozens of civilians in recent days, amid a continued push by Ukraine to retake land in the south and east controlled by Russia./ CNA.al
