Strange in California/ 'Batman' appears at a City Council meeting

A man dressed as Batman appeared at a Santa Clara, California, City Council meeting.

He sharply criticized local leaders for the possibility of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents being present for Super Bowl LX, which will be held on February 8 at Levi's Stadium.

He used his public comment time to protest the city's potential collaboration with ICE, accusing councilors of being "cowards" and "traitors" for inaction and urging them to draft policies that prohibit the use of local resources for federal migration operations.

His speech went viral online, with some supporting it as a strong message, while others took it humorously because of his costume as the famous superhero. /CNA
