New details are coming to light from the assassination of the prime minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico.
According to what is reported in the international media, Fico received three bullets, in the leg, arm and stomach.
He was shot and wounded as he was leaving a government meeting in the central town of Handlova.
Officials say he is in life-threatening condition and is being treated at a hospital.
As Fico greeted crowds outside a cultural community center where the government was meeting, several shots rang out.
