The head of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party of Vula, Gazment Bardhi, spoke to the media after the meeting with his group.

Bardhi said in a statement to the media that he will not sign any decision against the statute, referring to the decision on the date of the DP head elections.

According to him, a group within the Democratic Party is seeking to exercise the office of General Secretary.

"I don't know why one or the other was replaced, I have not signed any decision and I will not sign any decision that contradicts the statute. I will not give details of the implementation of the statute. I am not aware of such a proposal. The organization of the PD is the responsibility of the general secretary. Apparently, a group has decided to exercise the powers of the General Secretary. I will implement the DP statute. Anyone else who has decided to move forward with anti-statutory proceedings makes their own choices. Without a statute and without rules, there can be no coexistence", he said./ CNA.al
