Kosovo was not consulted about the draft/ Rama: We are two different countries

Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke today about his draft regarding the Association in the North of Kosovo, after receiving numerous criticisms from politics.

Rama said that he wanted to be fair to all parties. Regarding the fact that Kosovo has not been consulted on the draft, the head of government stated that he wanted to contribute as another state.

"No. I want to be very fair and in relation to partners. This is not a conspiracy of Albanians that we are doing together and then I will lead it. This is a contribution of Albania as another country. We are brothers, but we have two different countries. Albania has its own state, Kosovo has its own state", he said in an interview with Kosovo media.

The Prime Minister said again that he maintains the same position with America and the EU regarding tensions.

"Albania in this case is completely in line with the USA and the EU, with France and Germany, with the attitude of what the Kosovo authorities are doing. Albania cannot contribute to this process, except by being very ethical in relation to its allies and its own position. We cannot play a role of throwing the stone and hiding our hand. In the sense that we consult these things beforehand and then act as if we did not consult", stressed Rama./ CNA.al
