"Nobody knows what I'm going to do"/ Trump: Iran wants to negotiate, but it's too late

US President Donald Trump said today that Iran has reached out and expressed a willingness to negotiate, but refused to confirm whether the US would join Israel in launching air strikes on Iranian territory or nuclear facilities.

According to The Guardian report, speaking to reporters outside the White House, Trump said Iran is "in a lot of trouble" and suggested that Tehran had made proposals to come to talks, including a proposal to visit the White House.

However, Trump did not elaborate on the details of any such meeting.

"I said it's too late to talk. We can meet. There's a big difference between now and a week ago, isn't there? A big difference," Trump added.

Trump said his patience "had already run out" with Iran and reiterated his call for the Islamic republic's "unconditional surrender . "/CNA
