The German ambassador supports the dialogue/ "All countries will recognize the independence of Kosovo"

Germany's ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde, told Radio Free Europe on March 15 that, if the talks between Kosovo and Serbia, held today in Ohrid, produce an ideal result, then he expects the five non-recognizing EU states to recognize the independence of Kosovo.

In the interview, Rohde also spoke about the European proposal for the normalization of Kosovo-Serbia relations and said that mutual recognition is key in the path of these countries towards the EU.

Kosovo and Serbia have been engaged in dialogue for the normalization of relations since 2011. They have reached dozens of agreements, but most of them have not been implemented on the ground.
