6 young people lost their lives in the tragic accident/ iPhone 14 notified the police about the collision

The crash detection sensor on the iPhone 14 has alerted the police to a tragic accident in Nebraska, USA.

According to foreign media, a black car crashed into a tree in the early hours of Sunday morning. Five young men died at the scene, while a 24-year-old girl died later in hospital.

Immediately after the crash, an iPhone 14 belonging to one of the passengers alerted emergency services to the scene. The sensor on the iPhone 14 gave the alarm about the accident at a time when there were no witnesses at the scene.

Although the cause of the crash remains under investigation, police said they were called to the scene after the iPhone detected it had been in an accident and automatically called police after the phone's user became unresponsive.

The iPhone 14 features a new sensor with a high-force accelerometer that detects when the user has been in a car accident. The function, called 'collision detection', is only activated when you are traveling in a vehicle./ CNA.al
