Brand Finance has listed the most important companies and brands in the world for 2024.

At the top of the ranking is the well-known phone company, "Apple". According to the data, Apple has experienced a remarkable increase in brand value in 2024.

This company has grown from $219 billion (74%) to $517 billion, regaining its title as the world's most valuable brand by a wide margin over other brands.

Apple has maintained its dominant position in the premium smartphone market, with 71% of the value.

Second on the list is Microsoft , with a value of 340,442 million dollars, thus being considered as one of the strongest and most valuable Technology brands, the largest American brands and the best global brands.

In the third place we have Google , with a value of 333,441 million dollars in 2024, where it can be seen that it has undergone an increase compared to 2023, where it had a value of 281,382 million dollars.

The fourth is Amazon with a value of 308,926 million dollars for this year.

In the top 5, the company Samsung ranks with a value of 99,365 million dollars. There was not a big difference with 2023.

The list continues with Walmart with a value of 96,842 million dollars, which actually, unlike last year, has suffered a significant decrease in value.

Tik Tok , the most used social network in the world ranks 7th in the list with a value of 84,199 million dollars. This company has increased its value compared to a year ago.

Tik Tok has left behind Facebook which has a value of 75,716 million dollars.

Deutsche Telekom comes in at number 8 but has actually taken the title as the most valuable telecommunications brand in the world, surpassing Verizon with a value of 73,321 million dollars. Ranked 9th globally, Deutsche Telekom also leads as the most valuable European brand.

Deutsche Telekom's customer momentum, fueled by network strength, has boosted the group's service revenue, while successful fiber deployments in Europe, along with 5G leadership in the US, have improved connectivity perceptions.

Brand Finance research highlights Deutsche Telekom's leadership in customer satisfaction metrics, bringing the Brand Strength Index up to 83/100.

ICBC ranks 10th on the list with a value of $71.828 million.

What is noticeable is the fall of Elon Musk's Tesla whose value is $58,272 million unlike a year ago where it had a value of $66,207 million.

Tesla has been hurt by its heavy exposure to the Chinese EV market and BYD. While Tesla's brand strength remains high overall, rated AAA-, Brand Finance's research shows a significant decline in reputation. Tesla's close association with Elon Musk, a controversial leadership figure, creates increased reputational risk for the brand.

That said, despite BYD's greater production volume, Tesla's brand value is five times that of BYD's. This highlights the enduring importance of brands as corporate assets, allowing Tesla to command a premium price, support its company value and potentially drive renewed growth.
