The US dollar costs more than the European common currency in the local foreign exchange market.

This is the first time that the ratio between the two main foreign currencies in Albania has been reversed.

One dollar costs 117.86 allek and one euro is exchanged for 117 allek.

Compared to the previous day, the American currency has increased by 0.74 points and the euro has depreciated by 0.18 points.

The main reason for the increase of the dollar has been given by the trend in the international markets, where the American currency has once again surpassed the euro, after the jump it received at the end of July.

1 dollar në tregun ndërkombëtar kushton 0.99 euro, duke shënuar një tjetër rekord historik të raportit mes dy monedhave.

Edhe oferta e euros ka qenë e lartë për shkak të sezonit veror, ndërsa ndalja e importeve të energjisë nga KESH, pagesat e të cilës bëhen në euro, kanë ulur kërkesën në treg për këtë monedhë, edhe pse në një ankand të zhvilluar të premten Banka Qendrore bleu 8.4 milionë euro valutë.

Rënia e euros në kursin e këmbimit ka rritur kostot për eksportuesit vendas, kryesisht të sektorit fason dhe mineraleve.

Nga ana tjetër, vetëm gjatë periudhës së verës kursimet e shqiptarëve në banka janë zhvlerësuar me 20 milionë euro rezultat i ndryshimeve të kursit të këmbimit./Euronews
