The Minister of Finance and Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj, in a press conference, said that the war in Ukraine has affected prices all over the world.

But according to her, the economy in our country has had a positive performance and that inflation is the lowest in the region.

 "Inflation in Albania is lower than in North Macedonia. The element that has influenced the increase in the prices of expenses, of the basket of Albanians, are food and drinks and transport costs. Food prices increased by 13.2%. Since the beginning of the years, we have had a stabilization of prices. We have had slight increases or decreases. The increased demand for goods and services during the first 7 months of the year have influenced the increase in inflation," she said. /CNA.al
