Agency deceives him about apartment meters, Durres Prosecutor's Office

In Durrës, citizen Gjinovefa Menalla faced a scam from the real estate agency “Dita Real Estate”. She had agreed to buy an apartment in the beach area, with an area of ??58 m² inside and 67 m² with the common areas, for the price of 70 thousand euros.

But at the last moment it turned out that the apartment was only 52 m², changing the terms of the contract. Gjinovefa had given 2 thousand 800 euros as a deposit, without receiving a tax coupon. When she refused to buy the apartment due to the change in surface area, the agency burned her deposit, leaving her without a home and without her money.

She went to the Durrës Police, where OPGJ Ardit Maksuti registered her complaint, stating that the agency was operating without a tax coupon and without a license. The file was sent to the Durrës Prosecutor's Office, but prosecutor Edmond Koloshi decided to "not initiate the case", arguing that the change in surface area did not constitute fraud.

"Stop" took the case to the end by confronting the agency's administrator, Dituri Dishi, who even said that the matter had been resolved with the police and the prosecution. After the show's intervention, Gjinovefa Menalla managed to get her money back./tvklan.al
