Murder of Renea's agent in Lazarat/ Supreme Court upholds life sentence

The Supreme Court did not change the decision following the request of the so-called "Fire Group", consisting of 11 people, leaving two of them, Albion Alikon and Bajram Boçi, in life imprisonment.

This is about the June 2015 incident in Lazarat where, after an exchange of fire, Renea's operative, Ibrahim Basha, was killed, while two other operatives were injured. Following the request of the "Fire Group" to change the detention measure, the Supreme Court decided to reduce the sentence for Alban Aliko and Elson Kasma, who will now serve 12 years in prison and not 20 and 18 as previously decided.

Meanwhile, five other convicts will be retried by the Court against Corruption and Organized Crime, related to the second part of the file. /CNA
