The moment of arrest

A 48-year-old resident of the village of Levan, Fier, was arrested by the police after he was accused of stealing 23,000 euros from an apartment.

This was made possible thanks to the second phase of the coded police operation "Signal".

He stole the amount from the VM citizen (arrested yesterday, for possession of 4 weapons).

The materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings were initiated in a free state, for the daughter of the FL citizen, the ML citizen, 22 years old, resident in the village of Baltëz, Fier, as it is suspected that she collaborated with the 48-year-old man to commit this theft.

During the checks in the FL citizen's apartment, the Police found and seized, as material evidence, 8100 euros suspected of the stolen amount in the VM citizen's apartment

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the Fier General Jurisdiction, for further actions./ CNA
