"Viso dy pakete" continues to lie about SPAK tests

Lawyer Maks Haxhia, who represents Ajola Xoxa, spoke after the hearings of the Veliaj-Xoxa couple.

In his statement, Haxhia continues the lies about the cases of Veliaj and Xoxa, saying there was no new evidence against them. Meanwhile, new evidence from SPAK was published in the media.

Just like his client, the mayor arrested for corruption and money laundering, Maks Haxhia attacks judges and prosecutors, saying they have no argument.

Apparently, corruption, money laundering, and the staggering expenses incurred by Ajola Xoxa do not seem like arguments to Maks Haxhi.

"What you all expected was decided, just don't ask me this question. And why do you say it like that? It's the practice of the Strasbourg Court of Human Rights, of the Supreme Court, there is no argument. We have this duty, to present the arguments to the court. SPAK did not bring any new evidence," Haxhia said to Xoxa.

 

Regarding the decision on Veliaj, Maks Haxhia said that the decision from the Supreme Court is awaited.

" I have an equivalent opinion and opinion about Veliaj. Resolving cases with arrest measures is an absurdity that only happens in Albania. An arrest measure cannot be applied to the most voted person in Albania. The dangerousness is related to the commission of dangerous acts. These administrative criminal acts have no degree of danger. We expect some miracle to happen in the High Court as well. It is the same material that was in the First Instance ," the lawyer said about Veliaj.

 

In his statement, Maks Haxhia called out the media close to Veliaj, who said that Joshua Roberts would be Veliaj's lawyer. Haxhia said that Roberts cannot be a lawyer because the law does not allow it.

"He can't be a lawyer because Albanian law doesn't allow him," said Haxhia./ CNA
