Today, the meeting of the Committee for Economy and Finance is taking place, where the draft law on concessions and PPPs is being examined.

Deputy Jorida Tabaku stated that there is a lack of transparency for concessions and PPPs.

Tabaku further emphasizes that no one can hide behind collective decisions and everyone must take personal responsibility.

Among other things, she has mentioned the chili pepper affair, where she says that companies are still paid even though they do not perform any services.

"There is a lack of transparency for concessions and PPPs. No one can hide behind collective decisions. Personal responsibility for everyone who makes a decision. The incinerators are a concrete example of how the company has not received any fines even though it does not provide any services. Burners continue to be paid without performing the services", stated Tabaku./ CNA.al
