Prime Minister Edi Rama was part of the World Economic Forum where he spoke about cyber security.

During his speech, Rama commented on the cyber attack from Iran, stating that we still continue to be attacked day after day.

He also emphasized that they managed to avoid the complete disappearance of the systems and the loss of data.

" For the last 6-7 years, we managed to become a country with 95% of its public services entirely online. You no longer need to contact offices, bureaucracy and so on. We are getting better every day.

Por në të njëjtën kohë ng aka ekspozuar shumë. Vitin e kaluar ne u sulmuam nga Irani në mënyrë masive shumë rëndë. Sigurisht i kushtuam shumë vëmendje në cdo hap, një heti  të tërësishëm të ndihmuar nga Microsoft dhe FBI. Ende jemi të sulmua, praktikisht ditë pas dite. Edhe pse nuk kemi një siguri kibernetike të fjalës së fundit, ne arritëm që të shmangnim zhdukjen tërësore të sistemeve që kishim dhe praktikisht, shmangëm humbjen e të dhënave çka ishte dhe synimi i sulmit”, është shprehur kryeministri.

Ndër të tjera ka deklaruar se po luftohet çdo ditë për të forcuar sa më shumë sigurinë kombëtare.

"We are fighting against time to strengthen national security as much as possible. We know very well that the capacity of those who carry out these attacks is very large and I do not know a country that has not experienced such a thing, sometimes with great damage. Talking about liability is very easy but we will address the problem in the sophistication of the protection. We resisted very well I think compared to the target that the attackers had. Their goal was to totally 'wipe' our digital system and return us to the 'paper age'. This did not happen and we succeeded," said the prime minister./ CNA.al
