A delegation of AMA, led by the head of the Authority, Mrs. Armela Krasniqi, participated in the bilateral meeting on the functioning of democratic institutions that took place on January 16, 2023 in Brussels, in the framework of the negotiation of the first grouping of chapters of the EU acquis, "The Fundamentals".

Ms. Krasniqi presented the institution's approach to the media in the election campaign and the intensive monitoring work of the AMA during and before the election campaign, according to the powers given by the Electoral Code of RSH.

Kryetarja e Autoritetit informoi në detaj edhe mbi kapacitetet teknike dhe teknologjike të AMA-s në procesin e monitorimit të transmetuesve audiovizivë në mbulimin e aktiviteteve të subjekteve garuese gjatë fushatës zgjedhore. Gjithashtu ajo përmendi përpjekjet dhe kapacitetet e AMA-s për të luftuar dezinformimin në mediat audiovizive dhe garantimin e lirisë së medias.

Krasniqi.

Recognizing, examining and following the best practices of EU legislation and recommendations on freedom of expression and guaranteeing protection from disinformation was another aspect that was mentioned during the meeting.
