The Judicial Appointments Council has dismissed the candidacy of prosecutor Elsa Miha for the vacant seat in the Constitutional Court.

The decision to reject the candidacy of the prosecutor was taken at today's meeting.

"The Judicial Appointments Council (KED), with the participation of its permanent and substitute members, of the People's Advocate, as well as representatives from the subjects invited according to point 2 of article 233 of law no. 115/2016, held its next meeting on Friday, January 20, 2023, according to the agenda announced on January 18, 2023.

Sikurse ishte parashikuar, KED diskutoi në lidhje me kërkesën e paraqitur nga kandidatja për një vend vakant për gjyqtar në Gjykatën Kushtetuese Zj. Elsa Miha, për rishikimin e Vendimit nr. 65 datë 22.12.2022 të Këshillit të Emërimeve në Drejtësi.

Në përfundim të mbledhjes, KED vendosi: Mospranimin e shqyrtimit të kërkesës së znj. Elsa Miha për rishikimin e vendimit nr. 65, datë 22.12.2022 të Këshillit të Emërimeve në Drejtësi, për vlerësimin dhe pikëzimin e kësaj kandidate, për vendin vakant për gjyqtar në Gjykatën Kushtetuese, të shpallur nga Gjykata e Lartë”, thuhet në njoftimin e KED./ B.A. – CNA.al
