An Albanian citizen, who is suspected of converting the business into a bar, has been arrested by the English authorities. The arrested person is Bajram Kolaneci, while the police discovered the bar's house above the most famous former kebab shop in the area, which was empty at the time. During the search, the officers found Kolanec inside along with another man, while discovering a total of 686 cannabis plants. They were worth between £48,000 and £197,000.

Pasi u arrestua, Bajram Kolaneci ka thënë përballë oficerëve se ka qenë i detyruar për shkak të borxheve. Ai ka thënë gjithashtu se kishte qenë në “Port Talbot” për gjashtë muaj dhe kishte tentuar të largohej, por “u kërcënua me armë dhe u fut me forcë brenda”.

He had a hard time finding construction work in Albania, so he traveled to this country. The defendant tells me he is sick and diabetic and has an irregular heartbeat. Kolaneci worked for those who were above for a small reward. He is very sorry for his behavior and admits that what he did was wrong and he regrets that he was involved in this venture", said the Albanian's lawyer. At the end of the trial, Kolaneci was sentenced to 2 years and eight months in prison," said the Albanian. /CNA.al
