SPAK confiscates the assets of Erjet Strefi, in international search for drug trafficking

The Special Court of First Instance decided to confiscate the assets of Erjet Strefi, who was wanted internationally for drug trafficking.

6 properties were seized from Erjet Strefit and the persons related to him, including villas, properties and vehicles.

The area was declared an international wanted by Interpol Prague/Czech Republic, in 2019, after, in cooperation with other Albanian and foreign citizens, they traded significant amounts of the narcotic methamphetamine in the Czech Republic and the Netherlands.

Pursuant to Law No. 10 192, dated 03.12.2009 "On preventing and combating organized crime, trafficking, corruption and other crimes through preventive measures against wealth", amended, at the request of the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime (in relation to property proceeding no. 1 of 2022 registered in this prosecutor's office), the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, with the decision dated 13.10.2023, decided to confiscate the assets of citizen Erjet Strefi and related persons with it, as follows:

1. Real estate, a 2-story villa in Dhërmi, in the "Ionian Olea" tourist complex, with a total construction area of ??151.8 m² and a total land area of ??217.16 m², eventually owned by an ES citizen;

2. Apartment-type real estate, with an area of ??56.20 m², in Selitë, Tirana, owned by citizen Erjet Strefi;

3. Apartment-type real estate, with an area of ??74.40 m², in Selitë, Tirana, owned by citizen Erjet Strefi;

4. Real estate of the arable land type, with an area of ??500 m², in the village of Krutje e Poshtme, Lushnje, with co-owners citizens JS and HS

6. Movable property "BMW" brand car, type: 3D, year of production 2012, owned by citizen NS

The Albanian citizen Erjet Strefi is wanted internationally by Interpol Prague/Czech Republic, in 2019, as in cooperation with other Albanian and foreign citizens, members of an organized criminal group, who operated in the territory of the Czech Republic and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, during the period from June 2016 to September 2016, have produced and traded significant amounts of the narcotic methamphetamine. /CNA
