Businessman and entrepreneur, Gjergj Luca, leader in the fishing industry in the Adriatic and Mediterranean, has prepared a big event in his town "Fish City" in Labinot of Elbasan.
The Eel and Tuna event, called "Unagi Kabayaki Night" and "Tuna Night" will take place on October 18, as part of Japanese Culture Week.
Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the special dishes of special chefs Jin Ogata and Takehiro Shiokawa.
They come to Albania from a famous eel restaurant in Japan with the teacher Mrs. Mary Sugai. The chefs will present guests with Unagi Kabayaki, a popular dish in Japanese cuisine.
"Kabayaki" is a grilling method. First, the eel is grilled over charcoal, then glazed with sauce, a mixture of soy sauce, sugar and mirin, and grilled again.
Crispy on the outside but juicy on the inside, the eel is served over white rice with sauce.
Also, at this event, the guests will try Rozafa's specialty, fresh tuna.
