Albania, the first in Europe to increase commercial flights in the summer months

The country's return to a tourist destination and the entry of low-cost airlines has significantly increased commercial flights in the summer months.

The increase in flights is more than twice higher than the average of the European Union, of about 13% for the summer period.

In Albania in July and August for the first time more than 5 thousand flights/month were registered.

For the entire 8-month period, flights in Albania have increased by 22%, after Serbia (27.4%), Malta (25), Cyprus (24), North Macedonia (23.4%), Iceland (23.2%). In the summer months, flight growth rates accelerated, making Albania move into first place during the season.
