SPAK starts a property investigation for Veliaj and his family members

The officers of the National Bureau of Investigation have been conducting checks in institutions, private businesses and banks for several days to obtain necessary documentation for the following investigations on the "5D" file and the affair of the century, that of the incinerators. 

The head of the Municipality of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, his wife, Ajola Xoxa and his brother, Arbër Veliaj, are the focus of these controls. 

CNA reported the other day that BKH officers went to several private institutions and businesses to obtain documentation necessary for the ongoing investigations into the "5D" file . ( read here)

SPAK is collecting official documentation from private companies and individuals, who had connections with the directors of the "5D" file.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday morning, BKH officers went to several second-level banks to collect and withdraw all the data from the bank accounts for the transactions made by Erion Veliaj, for the transactions of his wife, Ajola Xoxa, as well as his brother, Arbër Veliaj. (read here)

After the actions of the BKH and the collection of materials, it clearly appears that the SPAK has begun to verify Erion Veliaj's strong connections with the directors and not only for the "5D" file, but also for the incinerator affair. 

They have also begun to investigate the wealth of Erion Veliaj, Ajola Xoxa and his brother Arbër Veliaj in relation to numerous, suspicious, property and other transactions.
