Today, the hearing in SPAK/Berisha demands the removal of the security measure

SPAK

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha requests the removal of the "house arrest" security measure imposed by SPAK. The session at GJKKO is expected to take place today at 15:00.

In the decision of the GJKKO taken on December 30, which bears the signature of judge Irena Gjoka, it is emphasized that the security measure "house arrest" has been imposed on Berisha for the charge "Passive corruption of high state officials or local elected officials". 

According to the decision, Berisha must not leave the apartment and must not communicate with other people except those who live in the same house with him.

Berisha is accused together with his son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi of abusing the privatization of the former "Partizani" complex.
